HURT
HURT is a unique drop in centre offering holistic approaches to addiction recovery and family support. Our team of trained addiction counsellors and staff are able to advice on all aspects of addiction and treatment possibilities.
We off clients up to 10 weeks of counselling, 3 complementary therapies and auricular acupuncture seeds
We are also a training centre offering training in a number of different areas from mental health to addiction workshops. We have two in house projects one working with opioids users called Sowing The Seeds Of Hope, funded by the Big Lottery and another called Right Here Right Now, working with 16-25 year olds who are not in education, employment or training funded by International Fund of Ireland. We also have school programmes that are aimed pre and post primary this is to help raise awareness around drugs and alcohol. These help us to engage from the ages of 9 upwards.
We are not funding by the government or Public health Agency, we depend a lot on fundraising and funding from the likes of The National Lottery, PCSP and International fund for Ireland.
