I'm taking part in Darkness Into Light 2025 on Saturday, 10th May, to raise vital funds for local charities and people affected by suicide and self-harm.

My story

Hi everyone as most of u will know my daughter Kaylee (13) died from suicide in April 2023 . This has had a devastating effect on myself and family . I am planning on doing a sponsored walk called darkness into light 10th May this year . 
All proceeds will go to the charity and will be used to help people who are thinking of suicide and the families left behind after this tragedy. 
This is very important to me as the effects of being a bereaved family are devastating and I would never wish this on anyone . 
One of my daughters who let Kaylee go out on that fateful day struggles every few months with whether she is good enough be here herself.
And I have a minute everyday were I wonder if I am a good enough father as I was always taught a father protected his kids and I couldn’t have or she would be here .I’ve also got memory loss apparently from the trauma which is incredibly frustrating. 
These are the reasons that I have chosen this charity.
I’m hoping that u would take the time and give me a small donation to hopefully save someone’s life and a family not going through the trauma mine is .
